You know, 2002 was a very memorable year for me, because the worldcup which I always had to watch on the TV was right in front of my eyes.

4 years passes, now we are in the year of Worldcup again, and I am excited more than average Korean people. Don't know why but soccer, or football, had always been the greatest joy of my life. Doesn't matter that I don't even play any game. - used to play with guys during my childhood, though.

Last night, there was the opening match, Germany vs Costarica. A stunning match for an opening, with 6 goals in total. Lahm made a nice inside kick to the right goalpost which just got in to the net, Klose shot 2 goals as if a self-celebration of his birthday. Wanchope made 2 goals for his nation but the glory of those goals faded as Costa Rica lost 4-2 to the host, Germany.

Tonight, this evening in German time, there was a group B match England vs Paraguay. Bechkam's right foot made a ruler freekick from the left side of mid-field and the ball went right through the gaol net. Gamarra, the paraguayan centerback's head only helped the ball to be dragged in to the net. 2nd half was a little more lively for the paraguayan squads, but they made no proper chance to make one goal needed at least to draw. The final score was 1-0.
